Driving Directions  to Athletic Fields (Driving times are estimates only)

 

Arcadia Fields:
From Reeds Take Highway 150 North towards Winston Salem…turn right on Community Rd. (beside nursery) Baseball (fields 3 & 4) and Soccer Fields will be on the right. Fields 1 & 2 and gym are above on right. Travel time from Reeds is about 15 minutes.

Churchland (Booster Club) 444 Red Brick Rd:
Take Hwy 150 South through Tyro to Churchland. Turn right on Simerson Road (across from Churchland Elementary, right next to Churchland Baptist Church and Boones Cave Road). 4/10 of a mile down onto dirt road on your right; look for C'Land Athletic Fields signs. Travel time from Reeds is about 15 minutes, Arcadia Gym, Welcome, Midway and Ledford about 35 to 50 minutes.

Davidson Academy Gymnasium/Soccer field:
From Reeds take HWY 64 East towards Lexington.  Turn Left onto Forest Hill Rd. between Food Lion and Plaza Ford.  Turn right onto West Center St. Extension. Davidson Academy will be located 1/10 of a mile on right. Travel time from Reeds...10 minutes.

Greers Chapel Soccer Field (Churchland U6 Games)
Take 150 to Swicegood Road. Turn left onto Swicegood Road. Take Swicegood all the way to the end @ 150. Turn left onto 150. Go to Old Salisbury Road @ Hanes service. Turn Left onto Old Salisbury Road. You will go approx 1 mile. Greers chapel is on the right. Parking will be in front of the church ON THE PAVEMENT. Do
not park in Grass.

Ledford Middle School:
Take Business 85 North from Lexington.  Turn Left on Old Greensboro Rd, in front of the Davidson County Community College.  Goto about 10 miles to the Hwy 109 at the stoplight.  Ledford Middle School is directly in front of you.

Reeds Community Field (RCF):From Arcadia:
Go south on Hwy 150 and cross over New Hwy 64 Bridge into Reeds. At the stop light (old Hwy 64) turn left. Go just over 1/2 mile and Reeds Community Park is on the left. Travel time from the Arcadia Gym is about 15 minutes.

Welcome Soccer U6/U8 fields Beulah Church: Take Hwy 150 North, turn right onto West Center St. Ext., turn left onto Arnold Rd., keep right (Arnold Rd.) at split with Center Church Rd., Beulah Church is on left. Travel time is about 15 minutes from Reeds.

Welcome Soccer - U10/U12/U14 fields Bethesda Church:
Take New Hwy 64 EAST to New Hwy 52 N. Follow for about 8 to 10 miles and exit old Hwy 52 south towards Welcome. Go 1-2 miles to Tall Pines Road on the left, just before Dusina's Pizza. Cross over the bridge over the railroad tracks and continue until the Tall Pines Road ends in front of Bethesda Church at Welcome-Bethesda Road. Travel time from Reeds is about 20 minutes.

Additional Fields

Take 150N to New Hwy 64 East towards Lexington. Follow Hwy 64 E merges into Business 85, 29/70 traveling North, go approximately 2 miles and bear right onto the Hwy 64 East exit (past Lex High and M&L Motors). Go east on Hwy 64 (past Duracell).Turn left on Holly Grove Rd. go apporoximately 1 mile to the old Davis- Townsend Elem. School ballfields and gym are behind school. Travel time from Reeds 15 min.

Take New Hwy 64 east from Reeds follow to Business 85, 29/70 traveling North. Bear right onto the Hwy 64 East exit (past Lex High and M&L Motors). Go east on Hwy 64 (past Duracell). Continue on Hwy 64 past I-85 to Hwy 109 (about 5 miles past I-85). Go south on Hwy 109 into Denton. At the second stoplight(a Bo jangles is on the left and an Exxon on the right) turn left. Go 3/10 mile and Denton Community Park will be on the left. Travel time from Reeds is 25 to35  minutes.

Take Enterprise Road to Old US 52. Turn left on Old US 52 toward Midway. Turn right at first stop light (Midway School Road). Midway School Road has a stop sign where it appears to end...this is not the case. It continues on to the right. Take Midway School Road to the very end (you will go through a second stop sign at Old Greensboro Road). At end of Midway School Road, turn left onto 109. Take first right onto Hasty School Road. The school is about a mile on your left. Fields are behind it. Travel time from Reeds is  about 20-25 minutes.

Linwood:

Take New Hwy 64 East to New Hwy 52 South exit. Hwy 52 merges with Bus 85 S. Take the Linwood exit (2nd exit past the Hospital exit); turn left at the stop sign. Follow Hargrave Road (bears right) as it crosses over Interstate 85 and becomes Old Linwood Road and then becomes Linwood-Southmont Road (keep going straight on this road...) Linwood ballfield on left. Travel time from Reeds is 15 minutes.

Take New Hwy 64 East to New Hwy 52 south. Follow 52 until it merges into Bus-85 south. Take the Linwood exit; turn left at the stop sign. Follow Hargrave Road (bears right) as it crosses over Interstate 85 and becomes Old Linwood Road and then becomes Linwood-Southmont Road (keep going straight on this road...) You will pass Linwood ballfield on left. Keep travelling down Linwood-Southmont Road until you intersect with highway 8 in Southmont. Fields are on your right.Travel time from the Reeds is 25 to 30 minutes.

Take Enterprise Road to US 52 North to Hickory Tree Road exit. Turn right on Hickory Tree. Turn left at the stoplight on old 52. Turn right on Gumtree Road. Go down Gumtree Road to Hwy 109. Turn right on 109 there at Tyco. When you enter Wallburg (about 1 mile), turn right onto Motsinger Road (watch for it; it's right after school signs and road markings) The fields are down on the left next to the elementary school. Travel time from Reeds is about 25 to 30 minutes.

Take New Hwy 64 East to New US 52 N, go approximatel 3 or 4 miles and exit on Hwy 8 N (Old US 52N). Turn right, and drive through Welcome to Welcome Elementary. Turn Left at light onto Center Church Road. Field behind school at first left. Travel time from Reeds is about 20 minutes.

Take New Hwy 64 East to Business 85, 29/70 travelling North. Bear right onto the Hwy 64 East exit (past Lex High and M&L Motors). Go east on Hwy 64 (past Duracell). At I-85, go under the I-85 bridge and turn left onto I-85 going North. At Exit 102/Lake Road, exit I-85. Turn right at end of exit ramp and over I-85 bridge on Lake Road. Go through intersection/stoplight. Optimist fields are on left, just over the hill and just before water treatment facility. Travel time from Reeds is 35-45 minutes. OR cut over using Midway School Road to Business 85 into Thomasville. Take Thomasville (hospital) exit. Turn right on Lake Road

Take New Hwy 64 East to Business 85 N. Travel about two miles and bear to the right onto 64 East, toward Asheboro. About halfway up the hill you'll see E. Holly Grove Rd. to the left. Make a left turn. If you miss it, at the top of the hill is a flashing caution light, turn left. This will dead end into E. Holly Grove Rd. Turn right and follow this road into Thomasville. The new complex will be on the right. Holly Grove Rd. crosses Fisher Ferry Rd. and will dead end at a stop sign. Turn left and you'll see Fairgrove School on your right after about half a mile. There is a small baseball field behind an to the left of the school. Approx travel time from the Reeds is 25 to 30 minutes.

Take New Hwy 64 east to Highway 8, old US 52 exit (Winston Road/Lexington). Turn Right off of exit ramp and travel into Lexington. Continue on this road (Hwy 8; becomes Raleigh Road) across Main Street of Lexington and through town, crossing Talbert Boulevard (Burger King/K Mart). Continue past Anchor Skating and prison. Finch Park will be on right; you will see the fields through the trees - take next right/follow signs. If you come to Timberlake Gallery, you've gone too far. Travel time from Reeds is about 15 minutes.
