Reeds Athletic Association
Reeds Athletic Association is a private non for profit organization that has been serving children in the Reeds community since 1973. The organization is not associated with nor receives any funding from Davidson County or any other public or government entity. The organization offers sports at selected times during the year for both Boys and Girls in Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Basketball and Cheerleading.
The Reeds Athletic Association is composed of a board of directors that equally represents the interests of all sports offered. The people who comprise this board are parents, coaches, and members of the community that have participated in some capacity in the association. They are all volunteers who look after the day to day operation of the ballfields and sports offered at selected times. We are constantly seeking quality individuals who are willing to make a contribution to the association.
The principle goal of the organization is to provide your child with an opportunity to participate in a team sport and develop both athletic and social skills that they will be able to use throughout the rest of their lives. Every year a great deal of time is spent by the board members to ensure that a competitive balance exist for all of the teams that participate in the association. Your involvement in the organization is a key in ensuring that your child is provided with the best opportunity to succeed.
Boosters Club Meetings. The Reeds Boosters Club meets on the Second Sunday of every month at 3:00 pm. The meetings are held in the concessions area at the Reeds Community Ball Park. Everyone is invited to attend.

Listed below are the volunteers that give an ample amount of their time to make the Reeds Boosters Club work.
" Good leadership involves responsibility to the welfare of the group , which means that some people will get angry at your actions and decisions. It's inevitable if your honorable trying to get everyone to like you, it's a sign of mediocrity: you"ll avoid the tough decisions, you"ll avoid confronting the people who need to be confronted, and you"ll avoid offering differential rewards based on differential performance because some people might get upset." Colin Powell
